FALKENBERG. Falkenberg FF welcomed everyone to the Premier Division men’s football with six dancing cheerleaders before kickoff.
It was the little surprise this crazy night.
When the home players danced finished on the field, they had scored points against the reigning champions – and the audience had seen six spectacular goals.
Completely unprepared we were not now.
Last year was printed AIK there with 4-1 of the POI, to Falkenberg can beat the underdog is widely known.
Can still not say that I saw 3-3 come.
It was probably not the FFF’s coach Hans Eklund, either.
– This match was like chocolate wheel at Liseberg. It was hoped that it would stay on the correct number. Now it was a side-win for us, ‘said Eklund.
Let’s start from the beginning.
After Malmö’s victory match against Hammarby Monday (3-1) I ended up in a heated Twitter discussion with a number of dedicated MFF supporters.
The reason?
They did not like that I condemned Jo Inge The rock effort from the right. Even less fond they were of the Sportbladets jury rejected the Norwegian, who just got + in the ratings.
The choice of Vindheim surprised
Magnanimous as I am, I opened up the possibility that we seen wrong, and promised to keep an eye on the mountain towards Falkenberg.
I did not at first do because the MFF’s coach Åge Hareide apparently seen the same thing that I myself noticed that it was high time to drop until Agon Mehmeti in the starting line at Jo Inge’s expense.
Not so much to talk about, that is.
Even on the left side was new: Tobias Sana out, Paweł Cibicki set.
The shift that surprised most was right in the back line where Andrew Vindheim replaced Anton Tinnerholm. Add to that central defender Filip Helander was sick and Rasmus Bengtsson and Erik Johansson formed mittlås together in a fyrbackslinje for the first time.
I understand the idea behind the many changes.
Falkenberg was not Malmö’s biggest opponent, MFF’s enemy was the custom setting. In with three hungry bänknötare, and the problem could be solved.
“Not happy with defense game”
Now, it took admittedly not long before we got to see Jo Inge Berget on the plan, anyway. Agon Mehmeti stabbed on a post, was left lying in pain and had to be carried off on a stretcher. Tragically for Agon, and sadly for us in the stands when his nine minutes have been spicing.
– He got stuck in the grass and the need to x-ray the foot, said Åge Hareide.
The break meant that the initial MFF-depth storm abated, Falkenberg could stand in between with a good ending position for Calle Wede but the shot went over.
A so-called momentum, match the image leveled off.
If the offensive changes were meant to give the MFF energy, seemed substitutions in the back line probably cause confusion.
– We are not satisfied with defense game, especially in the first half, said Hareide .
Within two minutes the MFF first lost Christoffer Carlsson at the far surface, then released through Stefan Rodevåg to a neutral middle. 2-0 to Falkenberg after 23 minutes, right winger Calle Wede behind both goals, and he was not finished yet.
In fact, the mighty (and very nyttige) football weak peasant Hakeem Araba was close to 3-0 shortly before the break but Robin Olsen came quickly on the finish a few meters from the target.
Åge Hareide screwed on the MFF pause, picked out Vindheim, fielded Anton Tinnerholm, Magnus Wolf Eikrem took a step back to come up with more in the game, while Tinnerholm flew like a cannonball along the edge.
Reduction (Mountain) and acknowledgment (Cibicki) came in the space of just over two minutes, there were quick quality both. That was when I knew enough, most of the MFF will take this to the end.
But Falkenberg had a clear idea of hurting Malmo along the edges, Calle Wede switched sides and could threaten the surfaces that arose behind Tinnerholm. New post, no marking on Hakeem Araba and 3-2 sat through a vigorous leap nod.
4500 supporters minus thousand MFF are jumped up with joy.
Mount submit MFF in game
The statistics revealed that Malmo eventually won possession with 66-34 and had a full 25 trades on goal. To say that the acknowledgment was fair is fair. But the question is whether the FFF keeper Otto Martler should be taken Enoch Kofi Adus certainly well placed outer side from 25 feet?
Åge Hareide pointed out afterwards that he wanted to see the game again before he analyzed the more detailed but I do not know if he has that much for it. Some matches live their own lives, is not like so much else, and does not say much about the future.
Falkenberg Malmo 3-3 felt like one.
But entertaining it was, not least duels between Araba and Oscar Lewicki where it looked to distinguish one meter in length. When Lewicki jumped shot Hakeem chest forward and won the duel.
Jo Inge Berget? Yes, he acknowledges a nice third in the ratings thanks to its resolute trades that took MFF back into the game again.
