The Association has launched an investigation after yesterday’s racist accusation against … – Aftonbladet

The Association has launched an investigation after yesterday’s racist accusation against Södertälje Aaron Andersson.

Even Uppsala notifies the event.

– This is unacceptable. We are very upset, says Staffan Persson, Chairman of Uppsala basketball.

With five minutes left of yesterday’s final between Södertälje and Uppsala heated up it to properly plan after a situation between Brice Massamba and Aaron Andersson. In the situation that arose should Södertälje Andersson have spoken out racist. According to UNT will Andersson have said, “Get this fucking african off me.”

“Racism is never okay”

The Association has started its own investigation into what happened.

– We are trying to find out the facts. We take very seriously the allegations, on the other hand, we condemn no one until we know the facts, says Hans von Uthman, chairman of Swedish basketball.

– It is possible that we land in that word against another, but we still want to show that we take seriously the allegations. Racism is never okay, no matter how hot feelings it is. But I want to emphasize that we do not accuse or judge someone when we do not have the facts he continues.

“It is unacceptable”

Even Uppsala respond with full force and will report the incident to the Disciplinary Board.

– We are very upset. It

is a disaster and unacceptable. There are things that should not happen. This is not the lighter fluid we want for our next game, says Staffan Persson

Even Södertälje home crowd should have come with racist taunts during the match. Staffan Persson has talked to the officers of Sodertalje about what happened in the stands.

– I hope Sodertalje identify those who shouted racial abuse in the audience. We do not want them in Uppsala on Friday, says Persson.

Södertälje assistant coach Ludwig Degernäs says he did not notice the aggression against.

– I have not heard or seen anything. I know Aaron and Brice very well, but it’s hard to say anything until we know more. We can watch the game, then we talk to those who are interested, he says to LT.

Aaron Andersson denies that he expressed itself racist. If found guilty, he could be turned off.

The judges say they have not heard what was said.
