Sweden fought his way to the final of the relay – Aftonbladet

KAZAN. The largest competitors swam try with their B team. Narrow Sweden had to run hard right away.

A bad start and a short drink later they had a final to look forward to.

– It will be incredibly tough, but in a final can anything can happen, says Michelle Coleman.

Australia sounded syrrorna Campbell, world-Bronte and bronze-Cate, rest. Double backstroke champion Emily Seebohm, too.

The US gave Missy Franklin, Simone Manuel and Jessicy Hardy off.

So see the difference in width and regrowth out between the largest and the great. When attempts at 4×100 medley run this morning was Denmark and Sweden with their top setups to not miss the final.

– For me and Louise (Hansson), it is quite nice to swim in the morning, it is Jennie and Sarah has finals tonight who had wanted to rest in the morning. But we did it in Barcelona and did not come forward, and we can not afford it, says Michelle Coleman.

equaled seasonal best

She made a new, fine race at the opening backstroke , tied his personal best from the previous week (60.55) but was still not fully satisfied.

– It was not as good as in the 100 backstroke, our starter had a bad day, a girl had no toes the carpet, we were left hanging for quite some time and it was a little off. But it was good.

Jennie Johansson showed the form (again) on the breaststroke leg, swam faster than in the European Championship finals last year (66.20). Sarah Sjostrom butterfly stretch (56.1) and Louise Hansson’s final freestyle (54.44) was slightly worse than expected.

– I hope to swim much better. It was almost seven tenths worse than what I had yesterday. I got a short drink a little clumsy, but … well, I will not blame, says Hansson.

Are you worn out, or was it a typical morning swimming?

– Well, things did not sit. There is much more.

Third best time

Sweden went to the finals with the third best time (3.57,29), tonight they face large nations who send in a team. World Cup should end, Sweden is entering the final day last simpass with three final places: Sarah Sjostrom of 50 free, Jennie Johansson 50 meters breaststroke and the team in the 4×100 meters medley.

How many medals will it?

– I dare not say … I keep my fingers crossed for Jennie, it would be incredibly fun. Sarah is not as superior as 50 butterfly, but I keep all thumbs and toes, said Michelle Coleman.
