Swedes long after the World Cup marathon – Swedish Dagbladet

In a day of relatively cool Beijing was Annelie Johansson best Swedish as the 33nd time 2:43:43 – beaten by just over one quarter of the winner Mare Dibaba, Ethiopia.

– It was nice to come the goals, the last half was tough. I am satisfied, I was ranked 44: a time and became 33nd, says Johansson.

Charlotte Karlsson ran the 42,195 meters in 2:47:40 and became 44 a while Louise Wiker crossed the finish as 48th in 2:49:57.

All of the Swedish World Cup athlete has now raced clear. Angelica Bengtsson’s fourth in the pole vault was the best location.
