Erica Jarder struck with 6.70 meters already in their first three qualifying jumps. Khaddi sagnia started a bit slower (6.53 and 6.54), but in their third qualifying hopes quoted Sagnia 6.71 and could sign for the finals ticket.
With their hopes ended Sagnia eight in qualifying and Jarder ten. Jarders 6.70 was her longest jump outdoors ever.
