Athletic Bilbao will celebrate their first title in 31 years, after the team defeated Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup with a total of 5-1.

Bilbao team crushed Barcelona in the first great meeting at home with 4-0 and could keep away even at the Camp Nou on Monday evening.

Lionel Messi took the home team into a 1-0 lead late in the first half, but Aritz Aduriz tied the game just over a quarter from the end. Thus ended the game 1-1, and Athletic Bilbao was crowned Supercup champion.
