– It is down sharply, says Chairman Karl Jartun

Just as GP yesterday could reveal that landed IFK Gothenburg to end at a profit in 2015. But it was thanks to player sales – and sales by Comrade farm at the end of the year. Without the latter, the result was SEK 11 million minus and equity would have been close to zero.

– We want to build a strong equity and use the money from player sales to investment, rather than to save the economy each years, says Karl Jartun.

an important part is to get a cheaper elite activity, ie lower wages in the a-squad.

– the challenge is that many sitting the contracts over time. There is nothing that can change over a day, and we can not do as a company and add a notice, saying Jartun.

Elite Operations cost 55 million last year, which was a decrease of 2.5 million from the year before. A sum that teaches decrease in the coming years.

– It is down considerably, and the need to steadily go down over time. We have already started with it, says Jartun.

Among other Gustav Svensson sold, and the new Icelandic Hjörtur Herrman’s son managed to enlist by a sponsor helped and financed the deal.

IFK Gothenburg also raise dues properly, from SEK 350 to 500.

– we have looked at other large associations and we have been well below average. We have not moved this charge in seven years, and think

500 crowns is fair, says Jartun.
The Academy joined the record loss – 9 million – as a result of the move to the Priority Serneke Arena.

– It is an investment that we want to lead to sporting success. The arena provides us with new opportunities and we hope that the increased costs also will provide us with increased revenues, comments Jartun.

The result was also adversely impacted by the contract with Malick Mane was broken, which meant that the remaining cost of 1, 3 million for his transfer was pulled off.
