Sanna Kallur has made a success of his comeback.
Now many want to see her at the World Indoor Championships in Portland in March.
But she closes door – completely.
– SM will be my last race of the season, says Kallur to Sport Express.
Sanna Kallur, 35, is back on the track.
the world record holder in the 60 meters hurdles made a comeback on TeamSportia games in January and were also in the Nordic countries struggle in Vaxjo in February.
on Saturday she makes her third race for the winter. Kallur runs 60 meters of SM in Malmö – and has set his sights on a gold medal.
– in 2005 I actually won championships here. Then I ran at 7.30. If it can go even faster now? We’ll see. I am in any case keen to run fast, says Kallur.
She says that winter has been better than expected so far.
– I’m happy with what I’ve seen so far . I think there is enough gunpowder in his legs to be able to run well on the hedge. And I’m happy.
And it is precisely hedge that is her focus from now. Kallur confirms for Sport Expressen that SM will be her last competition for the winter. She is not interested to run 60 meters flat at the World Indoor Championships in Portland – she has already qualified for.
– No, I will not run the World Cup. It is not up to date, says Kallur.
– It is so late and I will prepare better for the summer and start training hurdles and so.
The plan is that she will try to run the nest again in April.
But first wait SM. And Sanna Kallur enjoy being able to compete without the pain that has haunted her for so many years.
– It’s fun
