NHL merited center leaves SHL – Aftonbladet

Justin Hodgman, 27, leaves Orebro with immediate effect due to personal reasons.
Hodgman came to the club in early January, but leaving now, just eleven games later.

“because out of personal reasons, leaving Justin Hodgman Örebro Hockey with immediate effect. Justin still belongs Örebro Hockey season out,” writes Orebro in a very brief press release.

the Canadian came to Orebro from the AHL in January and then wrote a two-year contract. Hodgman came to Sweden with qualifications from KLH and later last year did the five games in the NHL.

– Justin is a player who works hard in both directions and we hope he can play a leading role in our team. He has been very successful in Europe and are used to playing on the big rink, said Örebro General Manager Pontus Gustafsson when the transition was complete.

But now it is finished playing for the Centre, which was poked in Tuesday’s match against Färjestad.

– He needs to learn. If one is to play center here you have to take greater responsibility. He must be more positioned in the defensive game, said Örebro coach Kent Johansson Nerikes Allehanda on Hodgman after petningen.

Online today commented Hodgman petningen to Nerikes Allehanda:

– I want to get back into the team and it is only to go to work again and fight on to get there. There are no guarantees in this sport, he said.

But it was only eleven appearances for the 27-year-old in

Örebro, where he scored a goal and a total of four points.
