Twice Malmö has stood out as losers in the crucial qualifying matches in Leksand. But now the Redhawks created a totally different recollection of Tegera Arena. After seven years in the league so is Malmo back in SHL.

The road went through a real rysarmatch.

Leksand took the lead with a rare Jonas Frögren goal but Nils Andersson responded by put two straight goals from the blue line. The first was disallowed but the replay approved judgments duo.

Super Hidden ice Jens Henrik Tønjum, who started the season in Leksand juniors, put 2-1 and Bear Svensson 3-1 in the second period Malmo dominated until that Tomi Sallinen were treated to an Indian passport and was able to put 2-3 in just over four minutes left in the file.

Leksand chased then tie the game in the entire third period and you got a giant mode when ex-nursery nobody Eric Himelfarb got two minute penalty for the puck out. Mattias Guter – who missed a penalty in the first period – received a giant mode but Jens Olsson kept the puck in his own end zone and instead could Malmö’s captain Henrik Hetta puncture match in the open cage.

– It feels absolutely wonderful, we have put ourselves in a fucking seat and still solve it says Heat and continues then dripping with irony:

– We are a team of mental imbalance, we have no senior players and are lazy and yet we go up in the SHL. So it will probably be really good if we get it, he says.

Now loading Malmö for a celebration of great proportions.

– Now motherfuckers we go, we meet in arena !, says Jens Olsson and continues:

– The fans have been waiting for seven or eight years now. Absolutely wonderful that we’re back.

After the match, explained Mats Lusth why Malmö won the series:

– So damn beautiful and so fucking fair. I think over seven games so we are better than them in more periods.
