Frölunda’s only (?) Title chance – Västerbotten Courier

Sports Telegram After the 48 teams from 13 countries have played 156 matches the CHL -hockeyn now reached the climax: the final between Kärpät and Frölunda. “It would be great to win a title,” said Frölunda Ryan Lasch.

Frolunda – who is in a slump after losing five of their last seven SHL matches – it may be the season’s only chance for a big dent.

the match is played in Oulu, where all 6614 tickets have already been sold.

“Kärpät are just like us a deep team, four good chains. They have won two straight championships and is Finland’s best team. But we should not focus so much on them. We will play our game and take advantage of that we are a faster team, “said Ryan Lasch to the club’s website.

Frolunda Kärpät defeated in last year’s semi-finals, but only after extra time. Frolunda then lost the final, and thus have revenge in mind.

The goalkeeper Lasse Johansson:

– It would mean a lot to win. I and many others in the team have almost never won anything in senior hockey, so it would be great fun. Partly to win, and to get into the mentality before the Championship play-off to win the crucial matches, said Johansson to TT last week.
