Radiosporten peer Rickard Jansson about the game, meaning:
Modo takes an extremely rare trepoängare and joy is complete in Modo-camp.
Adam Reid Born became the hero when Modo took his second trepoängare away from home this season.
– It was a long time since I played the game and it has been difficult to stand on the bench and watch so I felt very psyched today, says Modo’s keeper to Radiosporten.
However, it was close to Reid Born posed to it in the first period when he stumbled on the ice when he would catch a puck coming towards him.
– I would go out and play the puck, but I stuck with the rail and trips to, luckily caught the puck over the leg guard. It had been a tough start to the game, says Reid Born.
Linköping had won five of the last six home games – including the last two in their own stadium easily with a total of 10-1 over Frolunda and HV71.
Modo had instead gone on beating in three straight innings and four losses in succession on bortais.
In addition, the table number four LHC won all three meetings against nästjumbon this season.
A mouthful of Ostgota?
Forget it.
Modo was much more desperate in their pursuit to avoid direct qualifiers to hang in the top league.
Linköping acted passively, sloppy and far from the same intensity and speed they have shown up lately.
The guests were hotter in the close control and picked up most of the other pucks.
And early in the second period was the dividend for all the hard work, then Bill Thomas nicely assisted radar pal Victor Olofsson sideways – slapped the puck into the roof of the net.
LHC created some sharp modes – but Adam Reid Born was how safe anywhere in the cage.
Linkoping pressed firmly into the final period, but could not manage to outwit Reid Born sometime.
Modo thus took his second trepoängare away in winter, the first came against Frölunda.
After 0-2 away against Lulea Tuesday became Linkoping zeroed again.
