Stina Nilsson were back in the World Cup in Drammen and on Wednesday was the sprint in classic style that mattered.
Nilsson came only third in his semifinal and made it to the finals first as a “lucky loser” at the time.
As the only Swedish in the final hung Nilsson at the leading Norwegians all the way. On the final stretch, she, however, beaten by Maiken Caspersen Falla and ingvild flugstad østberg.
She ran across the finish line in third place, but shortly after the race, however, came the bang – Nilsson was disqualified and was placed last in the final.

According to SVT’s experts due disqualification that she has been too tough on a track change.
– I have not seen the film yet and do not know why I was poked down, but I respect the jury’s decision, says Stina Nilsson to TT.

The men’s final was Teodor Peterson only one Swedish. IFK Mora’s Johan Edin took the semi-finals but was far from the final scenes. He was drawn into a case and was fifth in her semifinal.
