Today kl.9.00 the trial began of Växjö Lakers sporting director Henrik Evertsson in Växjö District Court. Evertsson stands accused of two points of assault in connection with Växjö gold celebration last year. Here you can get short direct updates from the District Court.

The famous video has been played by the prosecution but it also has an audio file between Växjö Lakers former PR manager and the person who recorded the clip.

It was in connection with the Vaxjo Lakers gold celebration in late April last year as sports director Henrik Evertsson ended up in a notable street fight with a gang of young men in central Växjö.
The versions of what happened during the brawl differ greatly – the young men think that Evertsson was the one who attacked, while Evertsson himself claims he acted in self-defense.
Evertsson was after the fight first to notify the young men, but after P4 Kronoberg published a short movie clips that depicted a part of the fight was taken suspicions even against the sports director.
Prosecutors have later written off suspicions against the young men and now instead Vaxjo Lakers sporting director Henrik Evertsson alone charged with two counts of assault.
