Gerrard about to leave Liverpool – Swedish YLE

After 26 years, Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard decided that now enough is enough. According to British media, the midfielder to leave the team when his current contract expires this summer.

According to the Liverpool Echo comes Gerrard on Friday to announce that he will leave the club after the current season. According to the newspaper, he continues his

career in the USA in MLS league.

Gerrard has represented Liverpool all his life and made his debut for the men’s team in 1998. After that, it has become all in all 695 games for the club, in which He made 180 goals.

Gerrard has won the most in Liverpool, but a Premier League title, he misses yet. Champions League, UEFA Cup, League Cup and FA Cup, he has however gained.
