Frank Lampard will play in Manchester City during the remainder of the season. The club has extended Lampard’s contract you write on their website.

Frank Lampard’s contract with Manchester City would end on December 31 but now announces the club to extend the contract until the end of the season. Lampard will therefore be included in the City’s squad that faced Sunderland on New Year’s Day.

Lampard wrote last summer on the MLS club New York City but was loaned to

Manchester City. It was supposed that he would be playing in Manchester until the end and then go to the US to start preparing for the upcoming season. So it will not now.

– Frank is a star and he makes Manchester City better. He is eager to come to New York as soon as the season is over in England and he will be able to play right away and becomes a permanent player in the squad, says Claudio Reyna who is sporting director in New York City on the club website.

Frank Lampard has six goals in 17 appearances for Manchester City this season.
