Frank Lampard’s contract with Manchester City would end on December 31 but now announces the club to extend the contract until the end of the season. Lampard will therefore be included in the City’s squad that faced Sunderland on New Year’s Day.
Lampard wrote last summer on the MLS club New York City but was loaned to
– Frank is a star and he makes Manchester City better. He is eager to come to New York as soon as the season is over in England and he will be able to play right away and becomes a permanent player in the squad, says Claudio Reyna who is sporting director in New York City on the club website.
Frank Lampard has six goals in 17 appearances for Manchester City this season.
