Jagr scored his 15th hat-trick – Aftonbladet

NEW YORK. the amazing Jaromir Jagr made history last night – again.

He was the eldest in the entire NHL history to complete a hat-trick when New Jersey ran over Philadelphia at home in The Rock.

– I like to make the hat-trick, but not to be the oldest. I do not want to be the old guy says the 42-year-old legend with a broad smile after his three kalasmål.

It is a strange contradiction that Jaromir Jagr more often referred to as the elders who made things in the NHL, for the reason that he does them is that he apparently is forever young.

But in actual fact, opinion, it was therefore what happened when the nearly 43-year-old Czech in the night scored three goals in a single game for the first time since 2006 – and for the fifteenth time in his infinite NHL career.

He was the eldest in the entire NHL history to complete a hat-trick. The previous record was held by Gordie Howe, who was 41 years in 1969 when he saved his fans with three bags for the last time.

– I like to make the hat-trick, but not to be the oldest. I do not want to be the old guy says Jagr with the same wisecracking mood as usual when the Bergen Record speak with him afterwards.

Had new skates

That it was a hat-trick against precisely Flyers – which has the extremely heavy at the moment – explains the icon that

he had new skates.

– And for the first time in my entire career, I did not test them prior to the game. I just took them out of the box and sat on them. It felt horrible the first exchanges, but then it got better and I’m glad I never went into them, he says.

When he gets questions about how he got into the goals, a couple of them really beautiful jokes number 68 on.

– Talent. Pure talent. Nah, ha ha, I was just kidding. I do not know, he says with a guffaw.

Assist by Larsson

Age seems now not at all be a problem in Devils squad.

Even 35- year-old Scott Gomez, verging on the sensational since he belatedly signed a contract with his old team in the middle of the season, accounted for a goal and two assists.

But the young pieces in the squad, they can also. Swedish hill Adam Larsson, who gets a completely different confidence since coach Pete DeBoer was kicked and played nearly 25 minutes in the night, contributed to the example with an assist.
