Despite the game with a man more in 21 minutes managed to Gais never lard zero.
It ended 0-0 and a score against Frey.
– It feels like a loss, says Johan Lundgren to the GP.
It was a half by rolling game with two teams that had difficult to find clarity in what we wanted to accomplish.
Gais had most of the game but could rarely get anywhere in its offensive. The times they did so it was about individual performance of edge players Luther Singh and Kieron Cadogan.
The chances created were instead visiting Frej, usually through set pieces. But despite a few tricky situations it was goalless at halftime.
– We took too much time with the ball and it filled up the game, says Johan Lundgren.
After the break continued the match image and the became even more pronounced when Frey Cristoffer Ericson received his second yellow after stopping Wagsley in a counterattack.
But despite the gameplay takeover succeeded Gais not get any clear scoring opportunities or trades threatened Marko Atanackovic.
– This is home, people in the stands, and we’ll just take the three points but the game did not match, says Lundgren.
Even coach Peo Heather was disappointed stake.
– Should we see something positive was the collaboration between David (Björkeryd) and “Sebbe” (Sebastian Starke Hedlund worked well, we can rejoice that we keep a clean sheet and you enter on the results and look so we maintain a team that is behind us at the same distance – one if we want to win the game, we have not much to be pleased with, says Ljung and continues:
– The thing I miss the most prominent of all was perhaps the fire and the heat in the middle. I had expected to see a different driver from our players than what we saw, and we would have needed.
Despite the great disappointment of the insert against Frej is hope for improvement in Gais.
– As the squad and the team looks now: where would we have been when this season began. Then we had been able to compete for what happens in the fall here. But we have not had time to do what we need to do in the organization, in many different ways.
– You could call this a junk match because we know that we have a different potential in the team. But we’re sitting here with a point and have not given any advantage to the opponents – we have done before in the year. There is a difference.
It sounds like there is opportunity for a great fall.
– Yes, I think so. But should you win the game today (read: yesterday) then missing the embers and then they should probably get involved a bit more and boost what you have in front of them and directing what they have around them. So there is unused capacity.
How played Gais (4-3-3): Tommi Vaiho – Richard Ekunde, Sebastian Starke Hedlund, David Björkeryd, Calle Svensson – yussif chibsah, Reuben Ayarna (Pule Maraisane ’75), Johan Lundgren – Kieron Cadogan (Linus Tornblad ’65), Patrik Ingelsten (Wagsley ’65), Luther Singh
