147 abductees after the fight at the tavern – Expressen

Football supporters began fighting inside the tavern.

Now, two people have been hospitalized – while police investigate suspected abuse, vandalism and rioting.

– It has been a confrontation between two groups, says Lars Bystrom at the Stockholm police.

It was at noon on Sunday that the alarm came that a large number of football fans clashed in a major fight at a tavern at Hornsgatan on Södermalm Stockholm.

– It has smashed things inside the pub and two people have been hospitalized after being beaten, says Lars Bystrom.

It is unclear how serious damage to the two battered persons received.

150 people involved

A total of close to 150 people who were involved in the brawl. Police have now established a notification of beatings, vandalism and rioting. One person has been arrested suspect as leader of the violent riot.

– The other 147 persons have been removed from the site, says Lars Bystrom.

The Else-Marie Sandkvist living near the two taverns where the fight took place. She responded to a loud bang from the street and ran out to see what was happening:

– When small it again and flashed, then people ran like hell. It was full uproar, she says.

“Screaming and chaos”

Several windows were also broken on the two taverns.

– It seemed like it was someone who was inside the tavern who smashed a window. There was much shouting and chaos, says Else-Marie Sandkvist.

Earlier this morning heard several explosions in the area around Mariatorget on Södermalm.

Accommodation worried that someone threw grenades, but police could

later say that it was harmless firecrackers.

– There are many who have heard of and been afraid. But there are firecrackers from football supporters, says Albin Birch bark Berg, spokesperson at the county communication center in Stockholm.

Earlier in the afternoon, played the Allsvenskan match between Hammarby and Malmo FF on Tele 2 arena in southern Stockholm.
