Michel Platini, UEFA’s suspended president, claiming he remains best suited to become president of the international football association FIFA and that none of the other six candidates, his qualifications and expertise.
– I have been a player, coach, entered the club board and the organization of the World Cup and is currently head of the world’s most significant covenants. A position I achieved in an honest way, said Michel Platini, in an interview in the Swiss newspaper Le Matin.
The 60-year-old Frenchman is off for 90 days while a mututredning progress. Platini maintains his innocence.
– But it has prevented me from fighting for the presidency of FIFA on the same conditions as the other. I feel like a medieval knight on the road to a castle. I want storming it for football’s sake, but all I get is boiling oil poured over my head, said Michel Platini
