Gothenburg. Mohammed Ali Khan, 26, police reported late on Sunday evening, the death threats against him and his family.
– Police have taken the threats seriously, he said.
Halmstad defender got several calls during the early Sunday evening after his own goal against AIK in the fourth additional minute.
Ali Khan reacted to the calls and wrote on twitter:
“Hate me, call me stupid things, lie about me. But give a damn to threaten me and my family, which was the limit !! “
– It has called on several occasions, said Ali Khan Sportbladet.

– Yes Now I’ve done it. Late in the evening (Sunday), I got a call that was very detailed on me and my family. The person mentioned several details that makes me very worried.
– Police have taken the threats seriously.

– they’ll give back because they believes that they know that I made myself the goal on purpose, says Ali Khan.
Earlier on Sunday, directly after the final whistle he told Aftonbladet TV on himself the target in 94 minutes:
– I felt I had someone in the back and wants to poke the ball over the sideline. It gets me pokes it towards goal and Stojan (Lukic) can not get hold of it. It is an unfortunate own goal.

– This is the first self-goal in his career. It will be very unfortunate, but there are things that happen in football.
The loss against AIK and Falkenberg’s victory means that Halmstad with two rounds left to play already clear of relegation.
