The Allsvenskan gold battle is insanely exciting, and when the second and third, AIK and IFK Göteborg clash at the Friends Arena in the penultimate round will be facing large crowds.
Perhaps the biggest audience ever for AIK. The club’s current record attendance was in the premiere in 2013, when 43,463 spectators watched the meeting with Syrian. At 10:00 had 44 243 tickets sold to the match.
– We have some security barriers that make that we can not sell 50,000 tickets, but the ceiling is 45 800 says Lasse Pettersson, event manager of the club.
IFK Gothenburg gets there, however no record . The Club has the full Allsvenskan attendance record. It was in 1959 when 52,194 people watched the derby against Örgryte.
