Jack Connolly had to leave the crisis team Leksand last Friday after making zero points in eight games for the club. On Thursday afternoon, he was ready for Rögle.
– We get a game skilled center that brings us offensive tip and that is valuable not least in the powerplay. Jack also contribute experience and experience to our team that will be important as the season goes, says rogles sporting director Anders Carlsson in a statement.
The 25-year-old American made two good seasons in Färjestad and brought before this season move to Leksand.
Rögle hope that Connolly, who will wear number 12, is ready for play at home game match against Almtuna on Tuesday.
– The onset is determined by how
Connolly grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, and he already knows some of his teammates.
– I have played against Taylor Matson in college and knows who is Bostrom. It feels good to have them as teammates when you are new to the group. I am primarily an offensive player who likes to handle the puck and start the game. That is when I am at my best. Now in Leksand, I played a different role, a bit more defensively in the third and fourth chain. An experience, although I prefer the offensive game, Connolly says in the press release.
