Mullsjö David Gillek shocked by six-match ban – Swedish Radio

David Gillek got six match ban for an elbow he handed out at an AIK player in the premiere two weeks ago.

Mullingar player David Gillek turned off in six games in the super league in hockey. Legal panel considers Gilleks blow against AIK’s Erik Andersson in the series premiere in mid-September was conscious.

The verdict is controversial because the judges in the game chose to free event and not even judge expulsion. But floorball legal committee closes thus by David Gillek from six matches in the super league.

The Board writes that Gillek “must have realized that his conduct involved a risk of injury to an opponent.”
