Leksand continues its purge.

The next player to be sacrificed by the Club’s Eric Himelfarb.

– Eric will no longer be offered on playtime as he wants, says sports director Tommy Salo in a press release.

Leksand opened SHL-season record disrepair after seven straight defeats in as many matches.

Then came the season’s first victory against Orebro, in the eighth inning.

Sports boss Tommy Salo is hardly afraid to act and now he continues to clean in the squad.

Previously goalie Joel Gistedt, hill Robin Jacobsson and brothers Chris and Jack Connolly been rejected by the club.

And here is the next player sacrificed: new signing Eric Himelfarb.

The 31-year-old Canadian was recruited

from Linköping for the season and has recorded for the three points initially, but may now leave Leksand since the club acquired Mattias Ritola from Modo.

– Eric will no longer be offered the playing time he wants and needs, and therefore it is better that he be further developed in another club, Salo says in a press release.

In season Leksand picked up four players: goalie Joakim Lundström, slopes Linus Hultström and Daniel Josefsson and just mentioned Ritola.

Leksand meets Frölunda in the next round, at home on Thursday.
