– I saw Malmö’s qualifier against Salzburg last year, and I was really surprised how good they were. And so they played the course since the Champions League group stage, recall Zalgiris sports director Mindaugas Nikolicius.

After nine months of sailing came Martin Strömberg home to Gothenburg.

– It has been indescribable. And as long as the finish in Gothenburg, I will be happy again, he laughs.

Portugal tops Sweden’s European Championship team – Sveriges Radio

Italy, who surprisingly lost to Swedish U21 national team in the first round group stage, put full speed ahead from the start and created several good scoring opportunities in the first half.
