The name of the stadium where Falkenbergs FF to play football at will – Falcon Alcohol Arena.

An hour before lunch was called to a press conference at Falkenberg FF’s Office. On the agenda were the presentation of the name of the new stadium on Kristineslätt as to be ready to play football in 2017. The Chairman Lars-Eric Nilsson welcomed and at his side he had Per Johansson, chairman of the Culture and Leisure, and a gentleman named Johan Örtegren, initially wearing FFF-Shirt.

– I pull me off this now though I do not have the same six-pack that (Hakeem) Araba, said Johan Örtegren

On the black T-shirt he had been was the “Falcon”.

Arena name was revealed shortly thereafter.

– We have a very good cooperation with Carlsberg and it is a trademark of Falkenberg. New stadium will be called the Falcon Alcohol Arena, said Lars-Eric Nilsson.

– We Falcon and Carlsberg is delighted to enter into this collaboration. We’ve been on the match shirt a few years. Now we are deepening and drive more long term. Among Falkenberg area where Falcon apparently first choice and we are pleased to have found a solution, said the Falcons Marketing Johan Örtegren and continued:

– We want to ensure that it will be alcohol-free alternatives in the stadiums and we do a ” statement “now to drive the development.

The agreement is valid for five plus five years.

But neither party wanted to mention the amount that Carlsberg will fork out for Falcon Alcohol arena name.

– All transactions are confidential pieces. There is an agreement between us and Carlsberg, said Lars-Eric Nilsson.

The only sum mentioned is the FFF will pay to the municipality in the form of rent of plant, offices, changing rooms and kiosks.

– The right of use per year is a public document and that sum is 2.7 million, said Per Johansson.

The municipality is it satisfied with the solution.

– There may be a local base and we are very pleased with the FFF managed to find such a strong interest. It feels new, fresh, and while it is a fun initiative from Carlsberg to highlight alcohol-free parts within the sport. I think many people associate Falcon Falkenberg and feel proud of the old brewery. This will provide a springboard in Sweden, said Johansson.
