The experts are critical of Schelin – Aftonbladet

The Sweden striker Lotta Schelin are dumbfounded by the World Cup tournament.

After Sweden’s check against Australia, she was sentenced out completely by television experts.

– She does not races because she does not want to end up in the situation that she fails, says Malin Swedberg in TV4.

The conditions were simple for Sweden’s last game in group stage. Victory against Australia and the place in final was assured.

Instead ending night session, 1-1 and Pia Sundhages national team now run the risk of going home after three matches – as one of the tournament’s two worst group of threes.

Now the rest of Sweden fate in other team’s hands and the first early tomorrow morning it will be confirmed whether or not Sweden’s ruling.

“Talked about taking a medal”

After three Straight Swedish tick directed TV4′s expert Olof Lundh fierce criticism of coach Sundhage.

– Pia has not succeeded in a World Cup where she talked about taking a medal. Her career in Sweden as coach teeters, says Lundh in TV4′s broadcasting.

Lotta Schelin is dumbfounded by the tournament and is also questioned by TV4 expert.

– The star you should build the national team around is not near to live up to the demands and expectations, says Lundh.

“Do not have it in itself”

The very toughest in his criticism against Schelin was Malin Swedberg.

– I think it is mentally. She

thinks it’s a pain that she has so much on themselves. She feels that she should do it and she could not and can not be bothered to take the responsibility, she says and continues:

– It is visible on the pitch. She takes no races, because she does not want to end up in the situation that she fails. A brave player, a player that wants to be with, they make these races. They get the ball and keep it. She does not have it there in itself and I think it is very mentally.

“Is disappointed”

Expert Fellow Hanna Marklund in the studio agrees that Lotta Schelin been anonymous.

– Lotta is disappointed that Sweden does not proceed on its own merits and that she has not had a decisive role. She is by far our most important player but I do not recognize her at all, said Marklund.

Even Radiosporten Anette Börjesson is critical of the Swedish national team:

– It has been uphill largely the whole tournament, it’s something that has not clicked in the spring in the national team. Defence game has been beneath all criticism, and now the attack, says Börjesson.
