Hamrén bet on Antonsson and 4-5-1: “Waiting for us a flood” – Football Channel

Just before lunch, the Russian time on Saturday so let Erik Hamrén the Swedish starting line-up to the European Championship qualifiers against Russia. As expected, it was Mikael Antonsson that goes into the starting line-up instead of Erik Johansson, who reached the knee after landing wrong in training on Thursday.

Otherwise, it is a starting eleven that Hamrén trained with throughout the week, both it has been open and closed trainings. That means Pierre Bengtsson to the right, Martin Olsson left and Andreas Granqvist back after being switched off at the back.

In midfield there will be five men, Emil Forsberg comes in instead of Erkan Zengin left, Sebastian Larsson is right . Centrally Albin Ekdal affectionate and Pontus Wernbloom gets the chance when Kim Kallstrom is off. Jimmy Durmaz is central and offensive.

The team captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be the sole striker. The biggest shift is almost the coach goes back to 4-5-1 after running 4-4-2 then fall away game against Montenegro. Last they played 4-5-1 alignment was against Russia at home in October 2014.

– You think it’s pretty quiet to jump around a bit, in the end, it’s about playing football and not much difference if you change. To play 4-5-1 fit better when the Russians press on and we are tight in the center, says Albin Ekdal and continue.

– We expect an onslaught at the start of the match and they will try to shock us high pressure, they are four points behind and have largely overcome and it is the only game plan they may have.

You have four points up, and a favorable situation – how does it feel?
– It’s really nice of course, we get us a good result from here looks bright. Do we get points with us to Stockholm it’s good and there we go.
