Erik Hamrén change as anticipated gaming system – and change players in four positions.
It may seem confusing, but I think he landed just right this time. And I’m dying to see what Berg and Zlatan can find on the front.

Hamrén would revert to 4-4-2 after the failed attempt to play with a lone striker against Russia was exactly what we expected. However, I must admit that I did not believe that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would recover so quickly after its muscle bleeding. It is only three days since he felt “completely blocked” and forced to get off at halftime.
But if Hamrén choose to play him from the start, we must assume that ‘Ibra’ is fully restored. It is obviously very positive.
And just as positively feels the election of Marcus Berg as a striker next to the captain. I was afraid that Hamrén again would choose Ola Toivonen before Mountains, but obviously he saw what I saw in Moscow: Marcus Berg is in great blow, he’s quick, agile, strong and exuded confidence. Moreover, he has a löpvillig play style that should complement Zlatan TARGET and Benefits role perfectly.
I’m sure the two will understand each other on the pitch and they do it – then we will see the Swedish goal tonight. How good is the Swedish attack.
More then? Well, Sebastian Larsson move down and play right-back. It is also entirely according to the wishes I expressed after the last game. Larsson may prefer to play in midfield, but nowadays I see him as a better right-back than right winger. And left footed Pierre Bengtsson had obvious problems later. The right decision again, that is.
Erkan Zengin comes in and it feels exciting. It was precisely against Austria – Vienna – which Zengin got his big break and was Sweden’s clearly the best player last fall. Can he repeat the bet – ball confident, brave, smart – he will be a key player also in the evening.
Two thumbs up for the starting line-up, that is. Now just a game played well. It can be a real qualifier classics. Friends Arena will be packed.
This will be fun.
To start Sweden tonight:
Goalkeeper: Andreas Isaksson
Back Line from right: Sebastian Larsson, Mikael Antonsson, Andreas Granqvist, Martin Olsson
Midfield Right : Erkan Zengin, Kim Kallstrom, Albin Ekdal, Emil Forsberg
Assault: Marcus Berg, Zlatan Ibrahimovic
