The FIFA Ethics Committee has initiated meetings on Fifa president Sepp Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini’s future. Now, says the BBC that the committee want to turn Blatter 90 days.
The Swiss public prosecutor is investigating FIFA president Sepp Blatter on suspicion of corruption and Friday underwent several major sponsors to the International Football Association out and demanded that Blatter step off directly.
Despite this, Blatter not yielded to the pressure surrounding his immediate resignation, but on Wednesday said the BBC that FIFA’s ethics committee provisionally closed 79-year-old for 90 days. Later corrected this to the committee want to turn him and that FIFA etiske judge Hans-Joachim Eckert, comes with a definitive statement on the president’s future on Thursday.
Blatter is suspected that both have signed a unlawful agreement for the TV rights to the Caribbean Football Association in 2005, and awarded an “unfair payment” 17.2 million to UEFA president Michel Platini 2011.
So far there is no information about whether Platini closed or not.
