Strong start of Lindberg – Vasterbotten Courier

Top ranking on the starting grid and the favorite to take his first professional golf title. And Bollnäs golfer Pernilla Lindberg replied to a strong start during the first day’s play of the European Tour Helsingborg Open on Vasatorps GK.

A 70-round, three strokes under par for the course, makes the 29-year-old has run in the front.

– It felt like the energy level was there and hopefully I can keep it all week, saying the US-pro Pernilla Lindberg.

The Solheim Cup player Caroline Hedwall went heavier. Including two double bogeys allows Hedwall three over par after Thursday’s game.

– I’ll break down and come back, was Hedwalls only comment to the press.

Mary McBride, former Hjorth, was heading for a good start to the race. But a double bogey on the final hole of the day made the Swede ended the round on par.

The Danish Nicole Broch Larsen’s early leader in the clubhouse on five under par.

The competition runs.
