IK Oskarshamn took his third consecutive victory in the Hockey Allsvenskan through 4-1 against Panther and three goals by Joakim Hagelin.
IK Oskarshamn has come back strong after a weak seasonal introduction and Wednesday’s game against the Panther became the team’s third win in a week.
Both teams wagered healthy from the beginning but the home team felt a little stronger although there long did not differ much in scoresheet.
The chain with Joakim Hagelin, Arsi Piispanen and comeback spirit Victor Löfstedt was involved in a lot ahead. Löfstedt that came straight from the freezer in Karlskrona looked very comfortable in a prominent role in the IKO.
Joakim Hagelin who missed many scoring opportunities during the start of the season opened and closed the scoring against the panther. The first goal came ii numerical superiority in the first period. He also made two goals in the final period where many thought that the goal for the 3-0 would close the game but after reducing the visitors with eight minutes left so put Hagelin’s third goal point of the game.
Hagelin’s three goals were important but Manuel Åbergs solo raid to 2-0 was the match most beautiful achievement.
The newcomers from Malmo soon eat sometimes play well and is of allsvensk quality but so will mistake it often does for debutants and then get up the hill too steep. The loss against Oskarshamn was the team’s third in a veccka and top prizes has been transformed into a place between finals and qualifiers.
IK Oskarshamn’s form curve is the opposite and llaget are up on playoff spot for the first time.
The win against Panther also provides the necessary energy to Friday’s meeting with series leader Vasteras.
