T glanders continuing series of leadership became yet another derby defeat. Hammarby won 3-1 before 24,900 at Tele2 Arena.
– If something happens, it’s more likely to happen again, says Djurgården coach Pelle Olsson.
derbies and Djurgården is a terrible combination. Last victory in a Stockholm Derby came in September 2011. The match against Hammarby were no exception. Loss with 1-3 (1-2) means that the Djurgarden not won a derby on whether Tele2 and Friends Arena.
Still, the team is still in the Premier Division Series lead with nine points after four rounds. Norrköping and Jönköping have as many, but worse goal difference.
– We will not delve too deeply where we stand, but it comes to add this game to the documents. It was far too long while we were not our true self, concluded a disappointed Pelle Olsson.
After three straight wins and the possibility of a small tug on the table top, it took then across the top for Djurgården. The absence of injured midfield engine Kevin Walker was obvious. Dif had been difficult to create something creative play at all in the middle, and ahead was indeed Sam Johnson remained alert – it was also he who answered the score at 1-1 after a corner, his fifth goal this year – while Mathias Ranégie had difficulty with both surfaces and tempo.
Kenneth Høie nor had one of their best days in the case. He will take on Hammarby’s second goal and was awry outside even in two others.
– I can not sit here and summarize derbies further away in time, but when it drummed on the talk prior to these kinds of matches stomped the set of players. The big thing is still that the opponent goes out with very strong faith. When one thing is forever complained of increasing the risk of it happening again, said Pelle Olsson.
Hammarby scissors Alex accounted for the first two goals. Attentive both, where he appeared in front of goal. But it was behind the most and best in the assault on the Erik Israelsson in “number-ten position.” Wise in both passes and receptions.
It was also Israelsson, who punctured the match when he scored 3-1 in the 62nd minute after a rib returned.
– A good performance again. Admittedly, we were a little too pleased with the 1-0 lead and give Djurgarden game a bit too easy last half of the first half. After 2-1 says whistle and weighs and we are back printed, but after 3-1 it is quieter. It is strong to find the right level of derby matches, said Hammarby coach Nanne Bergstrand.
Shape curve continues upward Hammarby. Alex and Israelsson find each other better and in the middle is Johan Persson and Philip Haglund beneficial.
– Alex will be really good. But it will be the second Brazilian (Romulo) also with time. Above all it is very nice to see Eric’s wise game, said Nanne Bergstrand who stressed the importance to keep feet on the ground.
– If you make this bigger than it is, it’s not good. It is mostly for the fans as it is more than three points to win a derby, he said.
