– Completely unacceptable, says Jonas Nordling, president of the Union of Journalists, said.

a spectator entered the press box during the break in the derby and attacked a journalist from TV4 group. The journalist received the slap in the face before the spectator wrestled down and arrested by a police officer who was at the match private. In connection with the Allsvenskan premiere between Örebro and Djurgården April 3 became a photographer at Nerikes Allehanda attacked by football fans.

– The big question is what kind of society do we get when it’s perfectly okay for some individuals to attacking journalists at a sports event or in connection with a demonstration. When one begins to mistreat journalists, you are on a slippery slope, says Jonas Nordling.

The TV4 Group Director Erik Westberg confirms that it was one of their employees who was attacked in the press gallery.

– it is totally unacceptable – it may not happen, says Erik Westberg Expressen.

Djurgården Soccer manager press Jonas Riedel was late at night in contact with the club’s security officer Mats Jonsson.

– We must examine this carefully to see what has gone wrong, says Riedel said.

– We have to look at what has happened and make sure it can not happen again. For it should not be allowed to happen.

It is relatively easy to get into the stadium’s press box as unauthorized.

– The stadium is constructed as it is built. But we’ve been on it for three years and never seen anything like it, so we were a bit taken by surprise. We have, after all guards deployed at the stadium, says Riedel.
