Rönnberg: “It’s an injury shock!” – Göteborgs-Posten

In principle, all players in Frölunda is playable in the final series against Skellefteå – something giving Roger Rönnberg a real luxury problem. – It’s pretty damn hard to stop someone, he says.

On Wednesday Frölunda had a short training session, scant 25 minutes before the players stepped off the ice. In the final series, with the most to touch a bit on themselves and keep the bodies – many of the players rested from ispasset. Something Rönnberg attention.
– It’s an injury shock!
– No, but it is that throughout the playoffs, some are training in the gym and some on the ice.

A who missed the last games but that slid around on the ice is Spencer Abbott – in a green sweater, which means that he is still not tacklingsbar in training.
– he can play, there is still the final now so it is clear he can. All the guys want to play and it’s pretty damn hard to stop someone from a final. But there are many who have little hurt, says Rönnberg.

Tom Nilsson then?
– same thing there, it’s hard to keep him off when everyone wants in and play.

During the final series so far there has been nothing but victories away when Frolunda leads 2-1 in matches. But it would be a trend, it dismisses Rönnberg quickly.
– If I’m not mistaken, it was the first home loss we had in the playoffs last, it’s almost comical to talk about a trend. During the first ten minutes of hemmais we had pole and crossbar. Had we made the 1-0 where I was convinced that we had won. Instead, Skelleftea 1-0 and 2-0 little thankfully. The only difference there is efficiency that we must have if we are to beat Skelleftea.

– But what is most amazing with these players is the sacrifice that these guys have done this year. The attitude of the team, it’s something extra this year.

Are you in top form right now?
– We’re close! But you ask players for players so there are many who can raise themselves, players can be even better.
