Frolunda killed Skellefteå home advantage: “Not worth anything if we do not win the next” – Göteborgs-Posten

After the victory with a 4-3 linked Frolunda grip on the final series and slew home advantage which had Skelleftea. – It’s good, but it is not worth anything if we do not win the next, says Roger Rönnberg.

Frolunda went and won away against Skellefteå in the first the final match. Since Skelleftea won SHL’s regular season, just before Frolunda was the team from the north who had home advantage in the final series.

– There where consistent and good hockey over the two periods, the third we were better and so it is, says Rönnberg.

Skellefteå’s home advantage is now gone, good?

– It is good that it is killed, but it is not worth anything if we do not win the next. Now it’s just on the back.

After the victory has Frolunda a great chance when the final series continues on Sunday in Scandinavium. Frolunda has not lost a single home game in the playoffs and win is 2-0 in match series

– The first four … how to get there we shall see. It is impossible to know at now, we’re not talking the results without thinking all along that we want to do an even better match at home. There are several things in our performance could be better, says Rönnberg and continue.

– But we have several times when we are very, very good.

What can get better?

– I think we have a tendency to give the initiative and give away the puck, especially on the way forward and we are forced to turn

around and do not get any long bouts. However, our present game, and the game towards the keeper really, really good.

You still have many match winners that are a bit anonymous, how do you look at Andrew Johnson instance?

– I think he’s doing one of his best games in the playoffs, he shows, he skates. Then it’s like with any other that he has toward the heat in front of goal. Shoot a bit more often, turn on a return and be there as it happens. It’s the same for anyone who has any kind of dry.
