The Swede lowered by Masters worst ball – Aftonbladet

AUGUSTA. In total, eight strokes over par and still by far the best of it.

David Lingmerth did not like anyone helped by teammates during his first Masters.

Former champion Mark O’Meara went over 13 and 16-year-old amateur Paul Chaplet stopped +21 – worst of all.

– There is no I blame, but of course it helps with a good ball, says Lingmerth.

David Lingmerths first Masters was not quite what he had hoped for. 28-year-old played at times compelling golf, but also took many wrong decisions and costs, as we know, greatly here at Augusta.

– I have not played good, but really good enough to play this weekend. But there have been a couple of mistakes that cost too much and two double bogeys and a triple destroy. I’m disappointed because I had hoped to play on, he says.

Worst ball across Masters

The Swede, who on Friday convinced with its + 1 round in difficult conditions , had no direct help from his teammates. Secondly, there was Mark O’Meara, the American who won both the Masters and British Open in 1998, which have become 59 years old, who went 13 strokes over par. And secondly, there was 16-year-old amateur Paul Chaplet from Costa Rica who was 21 strokes over the finish last in the entire field, and together with David Lingmerth was then the ball’s collective results 42 strokes over par.

The worst of throughout the Masters.

Aiming for Olympics in Rio

– I have not been playing well myself, but it is easier to push each other all play better. I did not see many good shots and it helps with a good ball, but it’s nothing I blame, says Lingmerth, who in the space of three years now has been harvested golf’s all majors and is now aiming for a race he has not yet played.

This summer’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

– I’m super-charged at the Olympics and will do my absolute best to get to be with, Sagert Lingmerth.
