Hareide: “Evenings like this one builds the city” – Expressen

– Although we were down 2-0, we were not too depressed, we knew we could do it here. We have seen the statistics and know how strong we are at home, says Åge Hareide, and continues:

– I was even happier when we hit Prague last year. It was even more important last year when we went straight into the Champions League. Then we had a reconciled law. Now it was more hope, these guys were not attuned. This victory was very important for the new lagbygget and I’m very happy that we succeeded.

“Been a lot of crap”

The victory means that Malmö worst has secured gaming in Europe League group stage.

After the match did Hareide dedicate the victory to the whole city, and the fans that were in place at the Swedbank Stadium on Wednesday evening.

– There has been much crap in Malmö last time. Now we had a positive experience together. There are nights like this that build the city. It’s so fun to play in front of such a crowd that we do not know how to pay tribute to them. It’s so fun to play in Malmo FF, yes that’s what we live for, he said.

“Would shelf Malmo”

Salburgs coach Peter Zeidler acclaimed Malmö after the game, while he was not particularly happy with his own team effort.

– I want to pay tribute to Malmo FF, they played well. We had a good opportunity after our 2-0 win. But we made too many mistakes, he says, and quickly eat:

– The answer is not as simple as it is any player who does not play well, or we would have been wrong combination. We have no excuses for what happened, but Malmö played well and did not let go for some hot chances in the second half.
