Malmo FF is set against Celtic in the play-off round of the Champions League.
The Swedish champions will finish the double session at home.
– The was the most important, says Anton Tinnerholm Sportbladet.
After 3-0 on Wednesday it was clear to Malmo FF for the second year in a row, knocking out Red Bull Salzburg from Austria. Today raffled play-off round and between Malmö FF and another Champions League group stage is Scottish Celtic.
– It’s fifty-fifty whether I’ll be honest, says Malmo FF’s right-back Anton Tinnerholm to Sports blade.
Even the assistant coach Olof Persson was pleased that it became Celtic.
– A good draw. Fully affordable. Tough opponent, of course, but spontaneously, it feels like we have a good handle on them, he says before he continues:
Exits at home
– I think we have a good chance. I do not believe Celtic are better than what Salzburg was last year and maybe not what it was this year either. So it’s up to the achievements we should.
In both meetings with Sparta Prague and Red Bull Salzburg last year that Wednesday’s match against Red Bull Salzburg has been Malmo FF had quit two meetings at home. History repeats itself against Celtic, when Malmö FF once again be playing at home.
– The best was good that we got the last game at home. That was the main thing, says Anton Tinnerholm.
“You work small miracles”
Just the atmosphere at Swedbank Stadion is something that even Olof Persson salute.
– where we can work small miracles together with our supporters and the whole city behind us, sometimes it almost feels like we are invincible there.
Malmo FF’s Jo Inge Berget spent the spring season in 2014 on loan at Celtic, from Cardiff City.
– Of course we will ask him about some stuff we need to keep an eye on, and now we’ll try to see them in place, says Olof Persson.
The first match is played Scotland August 19 while the return in Malmo played on 25 August.

It makes Malmö FF 270 million in equity and afford a number of years of deficit. However, a large part of the equity locked in Swedbank Stadion. Liquidity stood at the end of the year to 102 million.
A new CL-advancement would further increase the MFF’s economic superiority.
