The Swedish Sports Confederation chairman Björn Eriksson, of course, pleased with the increased appropriations:
“The increase of the grant is an acknowledgment of the public benefit the sports movement make not only in the integration of new arrivals, but in many areas, “says Björn Eriksson to the Foundation’s website.
The increase is the first sports movement received since 2008.
The proposal that was in September was passed in parliament on 9 December.
The total will sport 1.9 billion in government subsidies. These include support for anti-doping work, sports research and sports lift.
