Today it was announced that Conny Strömberg leave VIK Hockey. According to the club, he has willingly chosen to receive breaking the agreement.
Conny Strömberg has today chosen to receive breaking their contract with us, says VIK Hockey’s sporting director Niklas Johansson.
– He simply was not satisfied with his situation here and chose simply to ask if he could break the agreement and to leave, and we agreed to.
How did you react to that he wanted to leave the club?
– It came as no real surprise, this is something that have sprouted up over a period of time.
– I’m not exactly very surprised, I admit, says Niklas Johansson to P4 Västmanland.
He would like to thank Conny Strömberg for his time in the bay and wish him well in the future.
– We do not keep a player like myself want to leave the team, says Johansson.

Sports manager Niklas Johansson would not comment on the information that abound about a brawl between coach Martin Filander and Conny Strömberg would be behind the defection:
