Sweden turned around and won against the Czech Republic – Aftonbladet

0-3 underdog and later a match penalty.

But Sweden came back and started Channel One Cup with a 6-4 victory against the Czech Republic.

– It feels wonderful that we can provide iron and do not send signals to give up, says Pär Mårts in the TV 10.

Three Crowns began Channel One Cup to meet the World Cup organizer Czech Republic in Prague.

And despite the gameplay good Swedish introduction so raged pucks behind Anders Nilsson in Swedish bag. Jan Kovář set 1-0 after a counterattack after 13 minutes played. Less than a minute later shaved Michal Birner up 2-0 on a return. When the 3-0 came early in the second period, Roman Cervenka took Pär Mårts timeout.

“A real class goal”

It was given power, to say the least.

10.17 into the second set Patrik Hersley 1-3 with a projectile from the blue. Just 16 seconds later solo drove the same Hersley into the zone, made a delicious spin and put a backhand into the ceiling to 2-3.

– That was a real class goal, who expected it, exclaimed TV 10 Nations expert Harald Lückner.

The pickup was completed by Johan Fransson who shot the 3-3 in powerplay 58 seconds later. But despite three goals at 1.14 so did not get Sweden to retain their grip on the game.

Debutant

netted directly

Instead, Sweden took first a deportation order puck out and then put Daniel Rahimi in a tackle against the head of Farjestad acquaintance Jakub Klepiš. The referee gave the LHC-hill match penalty and the Czech Republic had only a few seconds in game five against three to regain the lead.

But the Tre Kronor dried come back yet again. Again, it was Johan Fransson who equalized with a fine solo performance early in the third.

The ruling came ago from The Young Guard. Mattias Janmark Nylén, 22, sat 5-4 from no angle at all and decisive 6-4 came from Tre Kronor-debutant Andrew Johnson, 20, who stole the puck and then single-handedly broke in and shoved his first country fights.

Pär Mårts liked the way the team is not turned down:

– We’ll think that it’s crowded hall and a foul blow. It feels wonderful that we can provide iron and do not send signals to give up, he says.
