Lundqvist: “Maybe good with a break” – Expressen

Leksand. Frölunda dominated gone to Leksand, but went despite 49 shots just home with a point.

It was the fifth straight game without a win.

– As it has become now maybe it is good with a break, says team captain Joel Lundqvist.

The scoring is locked up for Frölunda. The last five matches have been sectioned 1.2 goals and only taken one point.

Here’s even worse reading: these five games are the six goals have come on 149 shots. It is a målgaranti on every 25 shots.

The point to Leksand yesterday ought to have been three – if you look at match the image.

– It is not good, we are coarsely disappointed. We’ll see on performance and this, I feel we play as we should and it’s just that we do not score, says Joel Lundqvist .

The Scot ended 49-16 to guests, but Leksand won the match 2-1 after extra time.

Frölunda’s only goal of the match came in game five against three from Andrew Johnson was disappointed afterwards and unaccustomed to the team is in a slump.

– We have not had a single slump like this the past two years. Sometimes, click there, still think we played well and recent losses do not reflect the matches, said Johnson.

Rönnberg: Must be sorted out

Roger Rönnberg slump:

– If we are to look on the bright side, we have something to aim for. Last season, just chugged on, and then came the playoffs where we’d get the first blow and then it was the season ended. I think it could get something positive out of this, that we will sort it out and come up which way we should go.

Frölunda houses remained in the top of the table, but also for a series runner-up, it is useful with a game break.

– You always want to find the winning track again, but as it has become now maybe it’s great having a break so we get the chance to collect us and look forward, says Joel Lundqvist.
