San Lorenzo – Auckland City 1-1 (2-1 after forgive): Barely Argentine advancement – SvenskaFans.com

San Lorenzo ready for the World Cup final.

There were more dramatic than expected when the San Lorenzo made the final in the club team World Cup on Wednesday night.
Stade de Marrakech gaping plot in many places but those who get there to see Wednesday night semifinals of the club team’s World Cup between San Lorenzo and Auckland City was mostly rödblåklädda Argentines. It was offered not for some big surprises in any of the boot setups, which meant including former Colombian national team captain Mario Yepes, and former Catania striker Pablo Barrientos, were involved from the start of San Lorenzo.

The first half offered very few scoring opportunities and both teams focused on making as few mistakes as possible. Those for the day dressed in white New Zealanders have shown a nearly oigenomtränglig defensive so far in the tournament and went on with it. Pablo Barrientos had some half a dangerous free kicks but nothing resulted. At least not until just before the break. Then he got a pass from the left back Emmanuel Más and on the half-volley, he could wrap up one behind the keeper Tamati Williams. Cheers rose among the ever-singing supporters in place.

The start of the second half offered continued quite wacky games. Auckland City had difficulty creating scoring chances and the game was at times quite tough. The Australian referee Ben Williams had repeatedly use their deck. San Lorenzo defensive, however, was anything but safe and repeatedly managed to hit the ball in the middle of his own half, which could have ended worse than it did. In the end, punish it when the Spanish right-back Ángel Berlanga struck the equalizer right in half. Berlanga is also great supporter of this final meet Real Madrid.

Directly after the change replaced the coach Bauza striker Gonzalo Verón with Leandro Romagnoli, who was back from injury. With fifteen minutes left got two good scoring opportunities in each direction when the Uruguayan Martín CAUTERUCCIO dotted post with a fine volley. In the attack then freed Argentine Emiliano Tade the other way but only went outside. Shortly afterwards exchanged midfielder Kalinski out towards the striker Matos in an attempt to establish Argentinian forward pressure.

It was missing some subtlety in San Lorenzo’s attacking game, something not been overcome since the super promise Ángel Correa left the squad in the summer. This evening was not paraguayanske midfielder Nestor Ortigoza in shape, something he had been earlier in the autumn when he became the team’s leading scorer in the league, and Judge Williams could blow for full-time by the score of 1-1, which meant the extension.

At the very beginning of the extension took San Lorenzo again the command of the match. Substitute Mauro Matos nodded down a strike against Barrientos. The England defender John Irving, who became the game hero for Auckland in the quarterfinals against Algerian ES Sétif, managed to break but not better than that Matos got hold of the ball and hit directly. 2-1 rolled past the keeper Williams.

Ten minutes into the extension got CAUTERUCCIO mode to increase the lead when he became frispelad right in front of goal. The finishing shot went straight on, however, Williams and position kept intact. In the second quarter of an extension came Auckland’s best acknowledgment chance with less than ten minutes left when midfielder Tim Payne fired a low shot into the keeper’s right post Torricos. San Lorenzo escaped with a cry of distress and now awaits final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
