Hard to take revenge for Zlatan and PSG – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

The tournament Zlatan Ibrahimovic would most want to win. But “that damn Champions” as he said after the exodus with Inter against Manchester United in 2009, is something of a ghost for the Swedish attack the star.

There are many indications that it continues to be so. After second place behind Barcelona in the group stage it was clear that the PSG would be against one of the eight group winners in the eighth finals, where the nightmare was Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. Followed by Chelsea.

It was Chelsea, a repeat of last year’s quarterfinals.

When was Paris Saint-Germain just minutes from the advancement of victory by 3 -1 at home in the first match, but Demba Ba shoved 2-0 for the English in return and sent out PSG with an injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the stands.

Now is the chance for revenge and soundbites from PSG camp after the draw was positive. “Chelsea is a good draw for us. I’m very confident. Last year was an important experience, a lesson that must not be repeated, “said club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told AFP.

The problem is that homework does not really apply anymore. PSG will be set against another Chelsea. Jose Mourinho has been allowed to continue lagbygget in the way he wants and it has paid off. Impact force is clearly better now than last season when Samuel Eto’o was the threat ahead. Now Mourinho has both Diego Costa and Cesc Fàbregas available in the offensive and André Schürrle who has taken another step in its development. Plus, the star-studded collective, of course, that makes Chelsea deliver in game after game, both in Champions- and the Premier League.

Mourinho had required at Paris Saint-Germain as opponents, well aware that Chelsea have the psychological upper hand after the turnaround last season.

When Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed the game at Stamford Bridge. Now we need a Zlatan top form if PSG are able to move on. The injury problems during the autumn could possibly cause the 33-year-old Swede is not as worn in the body in February-March as he otherwise might be. Hunger is his drive and it could not possibly be better than getting the chance to lower Mourinho’s Chelsea on English soil.

PSG is in their best moments able to defeat any team. The victory against Barcelona in the group stage (3-2) was again a proof of that. But while the peaks are magnificent shows the bottom pacifier that there is complete harmony in the squad.

Records recruitment of David Luiz from just Chelsea is not a success, to be kind. The Brazilian flitting around a bit everywhere on the pitch and defense game is not his first priority. Moreover, when Thiago Silva still seem to suffer mentally from the World Cup bang against Germany in World Cup semi-final (1-7) lacking stability backwards.

In addition to meeting between PSG and Chelsea Manchester City -Barcelona the given highlight of the eighth finals. Reigning champions Real Madrid got a wishful lot when Cristiano Ronaldo & amp; Co pitted against Schalke 04 as Real played with last year, a total of 9-2.

Are Bayern Munich the only team that can stop Real from writing history as the first club to defend the title?
