I realize it may sound confusing but will try to sort out what I mean.
Let’s start with the facts.
The loss against Luleå was Örebro’s third straight at home after the regular time. On October 24 defeated Linkoping 5-3. After that it has been defeated by Malmo 1-3, Rögle 2-4 and on Thursday Lulea 1-2. As the team after the international break played three away games – in addition to success – it is easy to forget how gloomy hemmetrenden now.
The fact is that it is historically poor Kenta Johansson tränartid the club since he took office in late November 2013. It was worse the first SHL fall when Patrik Ross led the team. Five straight defeats at home contributed on the other hand strongly to his premature dropouts.
But during Kenta Johansson’s two previous SHL seasons the team has never lost more than two straight in Behrn arena before bouncing back on the winning track. A property which has been one of the main causes of Örebro quickly become a stable SHL-law and feared at home for all opponents.
Here we have the explanation lodge s why the backlash will now. Örebro’s home games are widely spoken in the Hockey Sweden. It’s fast, fan, and operating with a great crowd pressure in the back. The opponents have now adjusted. Whether they are called Rögle, and the newcomer, or Luleå and is singled out gold favorite.
The tactic is to prioritize defense, play cautious and minimize mistakes to then exploit chances when Örebro patience or focus imperfections. Lulea did it by being clinical in numerical superiority. Two goals in three trials lasted long. Then it did not matter that in case a 17 year-old Filip Gustavsson fresh keeper. Orebro never really got close to his rejection to be a serious threat.
This may be the explanation . Yet no acceptable excuse. Orebro must of course be able to find other keys to their game if speed is slowed down, if the opponents have read the break the team’s original tactics. But the options were nowhere to Luleå.
And it does not help that so many deserving players are completely invisible in match after match. Jakub Petruzalek does not seem to thrive, Mikko Lehtonen does not appear to take in and Ville Viitaluoma has recently most excelled as a safety hazard in its own zone. Libor Hudacek did in any case not remove himself – because he did not even come onto the ice.
The only one of the great profiles that seem to come to life is the tallest of them all . Marko Anttila are on the rise, making utility and dare attacking. I’m just waiting dividend scoresheet will increase.
Not even the eternal game winner Julis Hudacek could save Örebro this evening. After over seven sessions, 156 minutes and 56 seconds, the burst
“It was so boring,” sighed Slovakian.
The zero burst? No, he was referring to the game as a whole. Both of him in the case and for the spectators. Hudacek had too little to do, the audience too little to watch.
Another one of Örebro’s signature seem to have lost your touch. The mighty force ring in the third period. Both the Malmö and Luleå was the draw for the final act, against Rögle only one goal disadvantage. All ended with a loss.
It may be coincidence, but nevertheless raises some reflection on some players’ physique is at its peak. Alternatively, some players wear more than others and not really able to bear the whole burden match after match.
Many spectators booed and whistled loudly in connection with the final whistle. Something like that I do not think I’ve heard of Behrn Arena since the years when Leksand stole, took all the points home to Dalarna.
It is also a warning bell. The time when people were just excited to see SHL hockey in Orebro is past. As technology also comes the demand for victories.
A new trend when Djurgarden will visit on Saturday is therefore important from several aspects.
