Law Edin finals defeated Switzerland – after the arbitration round -, defending his European Championship gold in curling.
– This was one of the sweetest victories, both semis and the hair. I have almost never been on during the matches as now, I tend to be quite calm and relaxed. But I wanted at all costs to win this, says Niklas Edin to Radiosporten.
Sweden had a difficult start, when it failed to bring the good semifinal game against Norway in the final.
Switzerland went early into the lead 2-0 and it looked as heavily out. But teams LinkedIn pulled themselves together, equalized and then dominated the final.
– After the preliminary rounds, we have the baton all the way, says Edin.
But the two Swiss point in the tenth round meant dividing round . And once there everything was settled during the last stone.
Niklas Edin and Sweden kept the nerves, and made sure it was Swedish gold jubilation in Esbjerg.
Law Edins European Championship, their fourth, and they also have two World Championship gold medals.
