The night was written boxing history.
Wladimir Klitschko has fought – and Tyson Fury is the new world champion.
– It means so much to me, says Fury with tears running along her cheeks.
It’s been over eleven years ago Wladimir Klitschko lost later.
But now it has happened again.
In the title match against Tyson Fury lost the Ukrainian superstar on the judges votes. In a match that was spoken as the Klitschkos last in his career.
But when the loss came, he did not take any decision.
– I have to think about it. I do not want to say anything hasty, he says in Viasat Broadcasting.
The two boxers stretched hands in the air after the game, but Klitschko admitted after the loss that he was not good enough to win.
– He was faster than I was, says Klitschko in the ring
– I have ldrig met anyone who is so big and fast OSM he is. And I never found any way to lock him up.
Tyson Fury, from Britain, was noticeably moved by the victory. In the ring, he wept tears of joy, and before he stepped down, he sang Aerosmith’s “I do not want to miss a thing”.
Then he hugged his wife, and went into the locker room as the first to beat Wladimir Klitschko in over ten years.
