SHL Guide: Two years ago Brynäs won against Skelleftea – Swedish Radio

Radiosporten gives you the prerequisites for tonight SHL matches. In Gävle browning take the first victory against Skellefteå in exactly two years.

Brynäs (4) – Skelleftea (2)

Type: Brynäs have won six of their last seven games. On Wednesday won Gavle team with 3-0 against Farjestad. Skellefteå has ten (!) Straight wins.

Previous meetings: Skellefteå has twelve straight victories against Brynäs in SHL, including the quarterfinals series in the spring. It is exactly on the day two years ago Brynäs last won against Skellefteå in SHL. Then, 27 November 2013, it became 6-5 to Brynäs after extra time.

Icy facts: Brynäs Anton Rodin tops the scoring leaders in SHL with 30 points. Skellefteå’s Patrik Zackrisson is in fourth place with 26 points.

Farjestad (6) – HV 71 (10)

Type: Farjestad has only won one match in the last five matches. It was for just under a week ago when Farjestad won at home against Linkoping 3-1. HV71 has three wins in the last five matches. Last Wednesday was the loss at home to Skelleftea at 2-3.

Previous meetings: Last season Farjestad won three matches and HV71 took two wins. It was pretty close games, the greatest victory was when Farjestad won 4-2.

Icy facts: HV71 has the most penalty minutes in the SHL 326 minutes in total. Farjestad has amassed 186 minutes, just Linköping and Skellefteå have fewer.
